KIMBERLY C. HARKIN, OF COUNSEL

Kimberly C. Harkin, Of Counsel with Corday & Hartney, PLC, focuses her practice on trusts & estates. Prior to working with Corday & Hartney, PLC, Kimberly worked as a senior associate and of counsel at established law firms, practicing in the area of complex family law litigation. For more than 18 years, Kimberly’s practice has focused on the handling of complex dissolution of marriage cases, parenting, and family law, as well as estate planning and probate cases. 

A San Diego native, Kimberly graduated from the University of California Los Angeles with a degree in Political Science. Kimberly earned her law degree from Santa Clara University, where she served as the Business & Development Editor of the Computer and High Technology Law Journal. While in law school, Kimberly interned at the Santa Clara County Public Defender’s Office, where she worked with the Office’s Special Trial Unit which concentrated on clients charged with capital homicide. Shortly after law school, Kimberly moved to Montana where she practiced law and endured frigid winters for 7 years, after which she finally returned home to San Diego because there is no better place to live and raise a family.

Kimberly and her husband have two children, and are active in their children’s schools and extra-curricular activities in the Carmel Valley area. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, going to the beach, and traveling.

Kimberly is licensed to practice law in both the state of California and Montana.
